Our check-out time is 11am (AST) on the last day of your booking. We have a few steps and tips to help ensure a smooth transition back home.

Our contactless check-out procedures ensure the safety and security of your security deposit and the apartment itself.

Check-Out Instructions

Follow these simple steps to ensure your smooth departure from our home and our beautiful island. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

1. Report Damage or Accident
   Take a minute to let us know if anything was broken or damaged during your stay. Together, we'll keep this apartment shining like a diamond (Rihanna would be proud).

3. Return Items Where They Belong
   If you happened to move any furniture or decorations around during your stay, do us a solid and put them back where they belong. You're giving a little love back to the cleaners who who will appreciate everything in its proper place.

2. Dispose Garbage Properly
   Gather up any loose rubbish in the apartment and pop it in the proper bins in the kitchen or bathroom, then take those bags to the exterior bins by the entrance of the driveway. Need more bags for your cleaning spree? Just click below and we'll make sure they appear faster than you can crack open that last Depute.

4. Turn Everything Off Before Leaving

   Before you ride off into the sunset, just make sure to turn off those lights, fans, and AC units, so we can keep the energy bill from skyrocketing and the planet from overheating.

5. How to Lock Up Before Leaving
   It's simple! Close all windows (we don't want any sneaky monkeys settling in), place the master key set and Beach Club Card on the kitchen table (easy-peasy), and lock the front door by pressing the lock symbol (or Kwikset button) on your way out. Thanks for being such a responsible amigo and taking care of our place like it's your own.

6. Alert Us of Your Departure
   Shoot us a quick note, like a postcard from paradise, letting us know you've officially checked out. It's like a virtual high-five that says, "Hey, I had an awesome time and now I'm off to conquer the world!"

Check-Out at 11am

Our standard check-out time is 11am (AST). This gives our guests the perfect amount of time for a sunrise dip in the ocean nearby followed by breakfast at Cafe Carizma in Holetown. Our housekeeper will arrive to begin promptly at eleven.

For a later departure, you'll need to purchase an additional night in advance if it's available. Given our small number of studios and cottages, we need to prepare them promptly at 11 am (AST). Trust your instincts, and if a later departure resonates with your heart, be sure to plan ahead and secure that extra night with us. You won't regret the comfort of having your own space to relax, shower and prepare for your journey home.

Extend Your Stay

Luggage Logistics

We dream of growing our boutique property and team so we can provide you, our cherished guest, with the convenience of amenities typically found in larger hotels such as late check-outs and secure luggage storage services.

If it's too late to purchase an night to extend your stay with us, we recommend having a gorgeous leisurely lunch at a beach front restaurant such as Calma Beach or La Cabane. This way, you can dip your feet in the Caribbean sea and savour a last taste of Barbados before heading to the airport.

Recommended Airport Check-in Time for International Flights

The airport recommends that travelers check in three (3) hours prior to the departure of international flights and two (2) hours prior to the departure of regional flights.

The distance to the airport from our studios and cottages is approximately 26km or about 30 minutes outside of rush hours and up to 60 minutes or longer during rush hour.

Please use your judgement and allow extra time and patience for:

• Weekday rush hours which are typically but not necessarily 8am-9:30pm and 2:30pm to 6:30pm;

• If it's raining or if a storm system is approaching the island when residents may be rushing to collect children and return home;

• When there are large events taking place in Barbados such as the Cropover Parade and the Holetown Street Festival.
