Sea Salt Indoor WiFi
All of our guests have access to free high speed WiFi inside our studios and cottages. Each studio and cottage has its own unique network. You'll find the very simple network name and password clearly posted in a visible place as you enter the apartment. You'll be connected faster than you can crack open a drink.
Sea Salt Garden WiFi
Guests of Sea Salt Studios: Blue Dawn, Sea Spray, Coco Teal, White Cap, Ocean Pearl and Driftwood. The garden gazebo has WiFi and power outlets for this wishing to charge phones or work outdoors. Please send us a note to request this information.
Guests of Sea Salt Cottages and Cottage Nook, please note that your WiFi reaches your outdoor space without the need for a separate network.
Beach Club WiFi
WiFi is not included in the amenities provided at the Beach Club, but kindness is currency in Barbados. Most guests have been able to obtain the network information by approaching the attentive pool attendants with warmth and courtesy. WiFi in Public Places
As you venture out to discover the beauty of Barbados, you'll likely be on the lookout for free WiFi networks. It's important to note that each establishment is different when it comes to providing free WiFi access to their patrons. In general, you can expect to be without WiFi on the beaches and during excursions. Some restaurants and bars offer free WiFi, but not all.
Data Roaming vs. Local SIM Card: Which is best for you?
Before you head to Barbados, it's always a good idea to get in touch with your local cellular service provider, so that you can inquire about roaming plans to avoid costly surprises. This way, you can make an informed decision based on your budget and roaming needs.
A SIM card is a phone chip that transforms your cell phone into a local phone number, allowing you to stay connected with ease and cost predictability. A local SIM card and data plan starts at US$50 for a one-week 7GB data plan. This includes our delivery fee and set-up assistance*. When it's time to leave the island, just pop your own SIM card back into your phone.
It's important to note that SIM cards aren't sold around Holetown (at least, not as of August 2023), so let us know if you'd like us to arrange this service for you. Simply fill out the special request form below at least three days before your scheduled arrival and we'll contact you to discuss plans and our fee to assist with the process.
